This August, NICA is proud to welcome Wellington Lima to Australia for an exclusive series of public Trampwall workshops.
With more than 25 years performing for Cirque du Soleil, Wellington is recognised as one of the pioneering artists who helped develop modern Trampwall into the discipline it is today. Combining trampoline technique, capoeira and vertical wall movement, he has inspired generations of performers through both his international career and his teaching.
Whether you're a trampolinist, gymnast, circus artist or movement enthusiast, this is a rare opportunity to train with one of the world's leading practitioners.

About Wellington Lima
Originally from Brazil, Wellington Lima has performed in more than 40 countries throughout a distinguished career with Cirque du Soleil, appearing in acclaimed productions including La Nouba, Dralion, Viva Elvis, Michael Jackson ONE and OVO.
Beyond the stage, Wellington has spent decades teaching Trampwall across Australia, Europe, North and South America, helping to grow the discipline internationally.
As one of the original artists involved in creating Trampwall within Cirque du Soleil, Wellington brings a unique perspective shaped by more than two decades of innovation, performance and coaching.
His workshops are known for their welcoming approach, encouraging participants of all experience levels to develop new skills, challenge themselves and enjoy the process of learning.

A Rare Opportunity
Following the public workshops, Wellington will spend four days working with NICA's Bachelor of Circus Arts students in an intensive residency, sharing decades of international performance and teaching experience.
