About the show
WELCOME TO BOX
Directed by Hayden Spencer | Presented by NICA's first year ensemble
Welcome to Box, a curious city built from cardboard, where life is lived in the box, unfolds out of the box and everyone thinks outside the square.
Watch as the city opens up and a vibrant society emerges, with curious rituals from the first light of morning to the depths of night.
Set in a world of cardboard creations and curious characters, WELCOME TO BOX takes a sideways look at the rules and expectations that shape our lives.
Celebrating the ingenuity, imagination and artistry of the National Institute of Circus Arts’ first-year students, WELCOME TO BOX invites you to look closer at the world we’ve built and the beautiful, ridiculous catastrophe we call life.
