Now You See Me

Curated by Linda Sastradipradja

Whiplash at the hands of human emotion, with circus

Drop into a world of suspense, excess, and intriguing possibilities of What Happens Next?

NICA’s final-year students invite you on a whiplash ride through twenty unpredictable circus acts after the objects of their affection sends them on a tailspin. We’ll be flying at high speeds through the entire spectrum of human emotion, so brace yourself to feel sensitive, vulnerable, maniacal, hysterical, inquisitive, demure, ecstatic, sassy, psychotic, stoic, heroic, lustful, cheeky, creepy, and MOTHER. Turbulence is the undercurrent but it’s all about the thrill.

Feet-first, head-first, upside down and airborne, Now You See Me… will juggle your logic and sense of stability. Simmering beneath the surface, nothing is quite as it seems.

These vivid artists are armed with equal parts mischief and mastery in a kaleidoscope of acrobatics, balancing, manipulations, aerial feats and more.

What awaits at the turn of the act? Now you may see them… but now you don’t.

Now You See Me… takes the form of 2 x 1 hour shows (Show A and Show B), each with a cast of ten unique artists and acts. You may choose to participate in half the fun or double the trouble.

Company 2025 sold out their 7-show performance season of Fall With Me (2024) – so don’t blink or you’ll miss them and be automatically redirected to their sideshow Now You Do Not Get To See Me… (disclaimer: it doesn’t exist).
