Adam Davis
Adam began his physical training in Capoeira as a teenager in Sydney, leading to his performing at the Singapore Arts Festival in 2002 with Groupo Capoeira Brazil. In 2003 he started studying at NICA with a focus on Chinese pole as well as in flying trapeze, adagio, pitching and juggling.
After graduating in 2005, Adam performed around Australia for organizations that included Team Loko, Lexus, Sony, L’Oreal Fashion, Optus, Buena Vista and Pacific Brands Fashion. He was also the co-owner of a flying trapeze company.
In 2007, Adam accepted a contract with Cirque Du Soleil performing in Tokyo’s resident show, Zed. He was cast in a 7-man act combining the apparatus’ of pole with trampoline. During the creation period for the show he trained in the French style of pole. He now draws from both Chinese and French styles to create a balance in his acts while utilising Capoeira as his movement base.

Since completing his contract with Cirque du Soleil Adam has been busy working with companies such as Stalker, P&O Cruises and the Melbourne based production, Numbat and Friends.
Adam also runs his own company, Adica Arts, with his talented wife, Jessica. Through Adica Arts, Adam and Jessica perform across Australia at corporate events and festivals in a wide range of circus disciplines.
A qualified rigger, Adam is currently training to complete the Australian stunt grading and performs as one of the ‘Kings Men’ the Global Creatures production of King Kong the Musical.
