NICA Graduate Jilibalu Riley Joins Circus Oz

2015 graduate Jilibalu Riley has been selected to perform in Circus Oz’s show, Precarious, which is set to tour nationally. He will also grace Melbourne audiences as part of a new Circus Oz show taking place in the Botanic Gardens this coming September.

Jilibalu joins a collection of First Nations artists to be featured in Circus Oz’s shows, including fellow NICA alumni Harley Mann. Before attending NICA, Jilibalu partipated in Circus Oz’s Blakflip program and went on to be a member of Australia’s first Indigenous circus troupe, Corked Up!

Originally hailing from Karunda in Far North Queensland, Jilibalu joined NICA in 2013 specialising in straps, handstands and Russian swing.

NICA would like to wish Jilibalu all the best on his next adventure. We are incredibly proud of your achievements.
