NICA has an honorary Board of Directors with a maximum of 12 members who collectively have expertise in circus and the performing arts, arts education, finance, business management, sponsorship, marketing and public relations.


The Board is responsible for the overall governance of the organisation and for leading NICA in its mission of being an internationally renowned Australian Centre of Excellence in education, training and performance in contemporary circus.


Specifically the Board develops and reviews policy, makes key management appointments, ensures statutory obligations are met and monitors NICA’s financial viability.
