An almost impossible combination of steely athleticism and poise, Melissa is one of Australia’s most thrilling and polished circus talents. 

A more-than-accomplished Dancer, Aerialist and Contortionist with over 20 years of performance and training behind her, she was made for a life on the stage, possessing an instinctive connection to rhythm and a feeling for music that she expertly translates into wild feats of movement art across various disciplines.

A classic and contemporary trained Dancer, Melissa’s primary focus has shifted to Aerials and Contortion, specifically Lyra (Aerial Hoop), Silks, Sling (Aerial Hammock), and speciality apparatus’ such as Aerial Chandelier. 

This arresting performer generates surges of electric excitement, hypnotising audiences with her natural flexibility, grace and strong showmanship that is impossible to resist. She is a radiant soloist and makes up one half of the successful doubles act Gemini2 Aerial Hoop Duo with partner and industry colleague Shannon.
