AERIAL PREPARATION - BEGINNERS
Static trapeze, hoop & tissu

Learn the basics and prepare to have fun in the air on a variety of aerial equipment. Build up your strength and flexibility. Static trapeze, static cloud swing, rope, aerial hoop and tissu. Tuesday 6:30pm-8:30pm.

AERIAL ASSORTMENT - BEGINNER +
Static Trapeze, Hoop and Tissu

Practice and develop your aerial skills on static trapeze, static cloudswing, rope, aerial hoop & tissu. Improve strength, coordination and aerial awareness. Wednesday 6:30pm-8:30pm.

AERIAL ASSORTMENT - INTER TO ADVANCED
Static trapeze, hoop & tissu

Practice and develop your aerial skills on static trapeze, static cloudswing, rope, aerial hoop & tissu. Improve strength, coordination and aerial awareness. At least one term of Aerial Preparation or similar training is essential. Monday 6:30pm-8:30pm.

TISSU - BEGINNER +
Climb, wrap, drop & roll

This class is suitable for those that have completed at least one term of aerial preparation and have mastered the basics of climbing and wrapping. Move on to learn more adventurous drops and poses. Classes will include a warm up, strength training, conditioning tips, and stretching. Tuesday 6:30pm-8:30pm.

TISSU - INTERMEDIATE
Climb, wrap, drop & roll

Continue to develop your skills on tissu learning more tricks and techniques. Increase your repertoire of wraps, drops, dives and falls. Previous experience required of at least one term of Beginner Plus level (Tuesday night) or equivalent. Classes will include a warm up, strength training, conditioning tips, and stretching. Thursday 6.30pm-8.30pm.

ADULT AERIAL RING

AERIAL RING for Beginner+ to Intermediate levels. Trainer – Tessa Wilson, NICA Graduate. Focus on strength/conditioning, swinging/spinning, flexibility, skills and putting them together in a sequence. We recommend at least 2 terms of Aerial Preparation or similar prior to entering this class. Thursday 6.30pm-8.30pm.

AERIAL ROPE AND HANDBALANCING
Aerial and ground based skills

For those wanting to focus on developing their skills in either aerial rope and/or handstands. This class will run with a flexible structure that can be tailored to the individuals capabilities and goals. All levels welcome from first time beginners to the highly experienced. WEDNESDAY 6.30-8.30pm

STRAPS
BEGINNERS

An introduction to straps with a strong focus on strength and conditioning.
The class will focus on building the strength and flexibility required for such an upper body intensive apparatus. It will consist of straps specific strength and flexibility along with foundational straps skills. Previous aerial experience on a different apparatus is preferred.Tuesday 6pm-7.30pm.

AERIALS - SINGLE POINT
TRAINER - HELENE EMBLING

An experience in rope, tissu, multicordes, dance trapeze, aerial hoop and hanging pole. This class is exploring the common and specific elements of these single point aerial options in technical and creative terms. Participants can concentrate on their preferred apparatus or work across the range in order to transfer skills and develop a versatile and original style. From intermediate to advanced levels (a prior experience in aerial is preferred). Beginner participants would have to be experienced in another performing or physical art form, (gymnastics, dance, martial arts, Hip hop, …). Monday 6.30pm-8.30pm.

AERIAL PERFORMANCE AND TECHNIQUE
TRAINER - HELENE EMBLING

These sessions will address: Act composition, musicality, quality of movement, integration, development and refining of techniques, apparatus and design, originality, authenticity. Participants will need an intermediate to advanced level and aim at the creation or development of their performance. This course would suit aerial specialists with Vertical skills (Rope, Tissu, etc) or Trapeze and Ring options as well as performers working on a floor piece. Tuesday 6.30pm-8.30pm.
