An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Production Manager to join a dynamic team in a varied and interesting role at the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA), Australia's Centre of Excellence in contemporary circus arts.
NICA is a national not-for-profit arts training organisation registered as a cultural organisation and primarily funded by the Australian Government through the Ministry for the Arts. Auspiced by Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, NICA is the only training institute of its kind in Australia and was established to create world class training for the circus and physical theatre industry.
This Production Manager is responsible for supervising and facilitating the production needs of NICA performances and core training programs including:
• all performance, training and rehearsal activities
• theatrical production management
• technical equipment, maintenance and operation
• other technical and production staff
• other responsibilities including OHS
Based at the National Institute of Circus Arts on the Prahran campus of Swinburne University, this role will report to the Operations Manager (Facilities and Resources).
