Artist Bio
Richard stumbled, fumbled, and fell into circus as an adult and he hasn’t turned back!
His years at the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) have prepared him for a life spent jumping through hoops, handstands, juggling, various feats of acrobatic skill and so much more. Wanting to solidify and bolster his commitment to a career as a professional circus performer, Richard spent his time at NICA completing his Certificate III, Certificate IV and finally an undergraduate Bachelor of Circus Arts degree.
Since graduating, Richard has worked with Circus Rio, Circus Royale and the Ashton Family Circus. Most recently he continues to perform with Action Education’s anti-bullying show Backflips against Bullying; a solid project challenge that calls on Richard’s natural flair for acting and acrobatics all while contributing positively to an important cause he is genuinely passionate about.
