Work Experience and Student Placements

NICA endeavours to host a number of work experience students each year. Please note that applications for secondary school work experience placements in 2008 have now closed and are not yet open for 2009. 

Depending on students’ interest, ability and availability, students will have a first-hand opportunity to participate in training in the studio, as well as administration and marketing. Please note that participation in circus training is not guaranteed for each placement and will be dependant on existing schedules for our core program.

NICA may also be able to accommodate tertiary-level students seeking Arts Administration and Arts Marketing placements.

To register your interest for work experience in 2009 please email a short expression of interest, stating why you would like to do work experience at NICA, your circus background (or similar), the dates you would like to come, and what you hope to get out of the experience, to info@nica.com.au. We receive a high number of applications each year and apologise that we are only able to respond to successful requests. Please note that that we cannot take telephone enquiries regarding work experience.
