Work Experience and Student Placements

NICA is able to host a number of work experience students each year. Please note that applications for secondary school work experience placements in 2008 have now closed. Depending on the students’ interest, ability and availability, students will have a first-hand opportunity to participate in training in the studio, as well as administration and marketing. Please note that participating in training is not guaranteed for each placement and will be dependant on existing schedules for our core program.

NICA can also accommodate tertiary-level students seeking Arts Administration and Arts Marketing placements.

To apply for work experience in 2009 or a student placement, please email a short expression of interest, stating why you would like to do work experience at NICA, your circus background (or similar), the dates you would like to come, and what you hope to get out of the experience, to Michaela Nutt, NICA Student Administrator, at mnutt@swin.edu.au or call 03 9214 6975. We receive a high level of applications each year and apologise that we are only able to respond to successful requests.
