This training is ideal for circus artists, circus trainers, youth workers, arts workers, social workers, teachers using circus for social change and community development workers.
Presented by NICA in partnership with Cirque du Soleil. Social Circus Instructor Training is aimed at developing the teaching skills of circus instructors wanting to use circus as a social intervention tool and for the purpose of community capacity building. The training will be delivered by trainers from NICA and Cirque du Soleil’s Asia Pacific and South Africa Projects.
This training has been delivered free to over 250 participants since 2002. The emphasis of the training is to facilitate exchanges of experience, and best practice among participants.
Train the Trainer on Tour is a program tailored to meet the needs of particular groups and communities, irrespective of age or experience. This program is fee for service. Contact NICA to register your interest.
Social Circus Instructor Training is sponsored by NICA and Cirque du Soleil. There is no cost to eligible participants (transport and accommodation is not provided by NICA) simply fill out the application and send it in.
