A Taste of Circus in Australia

HNCA399 Contemporary Circus and Performance, Melbourne

Accredited by Swinburne University of Technology.This program is located in Melbourne, one of Australia’s most vibrant and culturally-rich cities and is designed for international students with an interest in contemporary circus arts.

Students will undertake classes in the NICA National Circus Centre and the Sidney Myer Circus Studio at the Prahran Campus of Swinburne University.

Areas of study include:

- Circus
- Performance
- Dance
- Cultural Studies

Students will develop physical skills through experiential learning and participating in excursions to some of Melbourne's principle cultural and performing arts venues. Cultural and tourism related activities will help to provide students with an introduction to the city of Melbourne and an insight into Australian society and culture.
