NICA has an honorary Board of Directors with a maximum of 12 members. Members collectively have expertise in:

| • | education (particularly arts education) |
| • | banking |
| • | finance |
| • | business management |
| • | sponsorship |
| • | marketing and promotion |
The Board:
| • | develops and reviews policy |
| • | makes key management appointments |
| • | ensures institutional objectives are achieved |
| • | ensures all statutory obligations are met |
| • | monitors financial viability |
